A district drawn
from its own ground.
Most developers buy land, then buy everything else. Stone arrives on a lorry from someone else's quarry. Roads are let to a contractor whose interest ends at practical completion. Power is somebody else's problem, and usually the buyer's.
Zyadd was assembled the other way round. Inside our flagship district at Burun A stands a granite ridge with an indicated reserve near fifteen million tonnes. We quarry it. We crush it. It becomes the sub-base under our own 48 kilometres of road, the fill under our own platforms, and the aggregate in our own concrete — before a single tonne is sold to anybody else.
The same logic runs through the works and the power. What the group can do for itself, it does for itself, and what it builds for itself it can then sell to the market at a cost base nobody importing material can match.
It is not a fast way to make money. It is a durable one. We measure a district in decades, not disposals — which is why the ground comes first and the exit comes last.
